Fendi - MENSWEAR collection spring/summer 2017 in Milan (with interviews)

Designer: Silvia Venturini Fendi Inspiration: Sun and fun are the two keywords of the collection, with some references to surrealist painting by Picasso, found through touches on some clothes and accessories.Focus on:the "Pekin" iconic stripes painted by hand in a coloured, washed version on trousers or jackets + the dressing gown in sponge or Mongolian lambskin jacket, to warm up after a swim in the sea+ the tank top or polo shirt in striped knit which is worn close to the body.Silhouette: fluid, light and easy to wear, with reversible coats, parkas or quilted jackets mixing leather and silk. Note: The sneakers which slip on with a built in sock, leather pool flip flops and the first eyewear collection for men.Interviews from Silvia Venturini Fendi & Pietro Beccari Silvia Venturini Fendi : The clothes aren’t really what they seem are they! Most of the pieces are doubles and they’re reversible so there are lots of things to see and lots of secrets and surprises. It’s a collection full of optimism and joy and it’s a collection very inspired by a day on holiday by the sea or by the pool. The stripes are iconic to the house, there is the Pekin fabric that we used to use for travelling and which is today interpreted in a water colour way and that has become the new fabric for our luggage, redone in a new more arty, more handmade version. Pietro Beccari :I do think that gender is more mixed than before and that fashion has liberated the man like it did for the woman some time ago. Today there are no more taboos, there aren’t right things or wrong things and I think that generates even more creativity.Music of the show, do not reuse for more than 7 days after the show
