Tiffany & Co. spreads the love with a new fragrance collection

Tiffany & Co. is expanding its fragrance empire with the launch of a new duo of his and hers scents.



The jewelry and lifestyle label has unveiled ‘Tiffany & Love,' a new fragrance collection that features ‘Tiffany & Love for Him' (the brand's first scent for men) and ‘Tiffany & Love for Her.' Both perfumes are set to go on sale on October 1 and will be produced and distributed by the beauty giant Coty.

The move -- which marks the brand's first debut into the world of paired fragrances -- puts a modern twist on Tiffany's legacy of celebrating love and commitment.

"With the launch of Tiffany & Love, we sought to create fragrances for romantics that define love in their own way," said Coty Luxury Chief Marketing Officer Simona Cattaneo. "The fragrances embody and embrace all forms of love, inspiring all to join the #LoveYourWay conversation by sharing authentic stories of personal love and connection."

The scents are built around the ingredient Blue Sequoia, but differ in their nuances. Tiffany & Love for Him was dreamed up by Sophie Labbé and Nicolas Beaulieu of IFF, and offers a citrus aromatic fragrance with a wood-infused base. Meanwhile, the perfumers Honorine Blanc and Marie Salamagne of Firmenich worked together to create a modern, woody-floral scent for Tiffany & Love for Her. Together, the perfumes express "the magnetism and electricity of love," according to the company.


 



Chief artistic officer Reed Krakoff has nodded to the brand's iconic blue and silver branding with cylindrical bottles crafted from blue glass, bearing a silver plaque listing each scent's signature ingredients. Different colored caps distinguish the two bottles from one another.

To celebrate the launch, the label drafted in the director and artist Cass Bird, championing the concept of ‘togetherness' with a black and white campaign that captures moments of bonding between couples around New York City. The clip is set to a version of The Turtles' track "Happy Together," which was reimagined by music producer Mark Ronson and singer-songwriter King Princess.
