The Simpsons are in style with Vans

Vans is bringing out a line of ready-to-wear, shoes, and accessories evoking one of the most famous families on the planet. No, not the Kardashians… the Simpsons. The characters will be gracing the Californian brand's most iconic items. The line will be in stores and online from August 7.

Homer, Marge, Bart, Lisa and Maggie have been hugely popular for over 30 years and this summer they can be found on Vans' cult ready-to-wear and shoes in conjunction with the brand's iconic checkerboard pattern.

Each member of the family can be found on the collection's sneakers, from the Sk8-hi to the Chukka Pro for men and the Old Skool, the Era, and the Slip-on Pro. They are not the only characters from the animated series to find a place in this capsule collection, as Moe, the Bouvier sisters and even Scratchy make appearances.

The Simpsons also appear together as a family on certain shoes and pieces from the ready-to-wear collection like hoodies or T-shirts. Some models are dedicated to individual characters such as the purple sweater bearing the slogan “Lisa Simpson for President” or the long-sleeved T-shirt featuring “El Barto,” one of Bart's alter egos, who seems to be running away, spray can in hand.

A backpack, cap, checkerboard bucket hat and socks round out the collection, which can be found in selected outlets and at Vans.com.
