After joining forces with Puma, The Kooples is getting involved again with the world of sports, striking a partnership with the NBA, the USA's National Basketball Association. The French men’s and women’s ready-to-wear label bought by the Maus Frères group last May, has unveiled a capsule collection for men inspired by the kits and logos of the NBA franchises.

Included in The Kooples x NBA collection are oversize t-shirts, striped shorts and hoodies with the logos of teams like the Boston Celtics, the Golden State Warriors and the Los Angeles Lakers. The items, in a palette of black, white and grey, will be available on The Kooples’s website and in-store from July 15, at prices ranging from €88 to €198.

The NBA seems to have quite an appetite for collaborations with fashion labels. Zadig & Voltaire presented its own take on the league’s team logos at its last show in New York. At the start of 2019, some franchises’ colours were featured on Timberland shoes, while last year, Kitsuné and Supreme sported outfits and looks featuring the NBA teams’ logos.
