Rita Ora and Halsey among Victoria's Secret 2018 performers

Rita Ora, Halsey, and Shawn Mendes are set to sing with the angels later this month, as part of the 2018 Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.

The pop stars have been announced as part of the stellar musical lineup for this year's version of the annual lingerie show, which will be filmed in November in New York. Additional singers signed up to appear at the event include Bebe Rexha, The Chainsmokers, Kelsea Ballerini and The Struts.

In taking to the Victoria's Secret catwalk, the artists follow in the footsteps of some of the biggest names in the music industry, including Taylor Swift, The Weeknd and Harry Styles.

"The show is a year-long production, and 2018 promises to be our most ambitious yet," said Victoria's Secret executive producer Ed Razek in a statement.

"We have more musical guests, more fashion and more stories than ever; and, of course, 60 of the world's top models."

Those models include a combination of established faces such as Jasmine Tookes, Lais Ribeiro, Sara Sampaio Adriana Lima and plenty of newcomers, including Winnie Harlow and Duckie Thot.

The 2018 edition promises to be a glamorous affair all round, with the show also acting as the official reveal for a new capsule collection designed by the lingerie giant in collaboration with the British fashion creative Mary Katrantzou. Celebrity makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury has been selected to handle the models' showstopping beauty looks.

"The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show Holiday Special" will air on the TV network ABC on December 2, and will be broadcast in more than 190 countries around the world.
