Pure London confirms change of date for Summer 2016 show

Published
Oct 22, 2015

Following an extensive consultation with brands and buyers, the fashion trade show Purple London has decided to change the date of its Summer 2016 show. The event will now take place from July 24 to 26, instead of its usual August edition to avoid the European holiday month.

Pure London also cited the clash with the August bank holiday in Ireland and other tourism events in London as reasons for the change of date.

Julie Driscoll, Portfolio Director for Pure London at i2i Events Group, commented; “Feedback from buyers and brands alike has been very positive, especially among international and our new Menswear brands. We’re excited by the opportunities for growth this new dateline offers.”

The next edition of the largest fashion trade buying event in the United Kingdom is scheduled to take place next February 14 to 16 in London. It will bring together over 800 fashion and footwear brands and emerging designers.
