On 13th September, the Première Vision Paris trade show presented its PV Awards to six exhibitor companies specialised in textiles and leather, selected by a jury of industry experts.

The two Grand Jury Prizes were awarded to exhibitors from the PV Fabrics and PV Leather sections of the show. For Fabrics, the jury was won over by Indian manufacturer Ventures, while Italian company Dileather did the same for the Leather section.

The Handle Prize for the Fabrics section was awarded to Italian company Luxury Jersey, while Japanese manufacturer Sakamoto Corp. won the same prize for the Leather section.

The Imagination Prize for Fabrics went to UK manufacturer Henri Portier/Bennett Silks, and to Anil Tannery for the Leather section.

The jury was chaired this year by Olivier Gabet, Director of Paris' Museum of Decorative Arts, who shared jury duty with Debora Sinibaldi, knitwear designer at Christian Dior, Alexandra Sandrut, in charge of product development at Christian Louboutin, Maria Luisa Requena, Senior Fashion Consultant at El Corte Inglés, and Japanese designer Wataru Tominaga, winner of the Grand Jury Prize Première Vision 2016 at the Hyères Fashion Festival.
