For Nike and Levi's, this is a first collaboration in which the two brands worked together to create this 511 Skateboard capsule collection. The line bears the logos of both brands, includes a pair of Omar Salazar LR sneakers, a denim jacket and 511 jeans that rely on Nike Dri-FIT technology.
Pro-skater Omar Salazar himself puts the new equipment to the test in the capsule presentation film.
This is not the first time a sports brand has joined forces with a jeans label, Adidas and Diesel having worked together in 2008. Originally, their agreement was to run for four years, but ultimately Adidas quickly resumed its in-house jeans collections.
The 511 Skateboarding collection will be available in the two brands' stores as well as in some multibrands including the Citadium in Paris / Visuals: NikeXLevi's |
This made-in-the-USA capsule will be marketed starting July 4 in both Levi’s and Nike stores but also in selected European multibrand stores, including the Citadium in Paris.
