Moose Knuckles appoints Carlos Nazario as global artistic director

Canadian luxury outerwear and ready-to-wear label Moose Knuckles announced on Tuesday the appointment of Carlos Nazario as global artistic director. 

In this role, effective immediately, Nazario will oversee Moose Knuckles’ collection design, image, content, brick and mortar presentation, and marketing/communication expressions across all channels.

“We are thrilled to welcome Carlos as the global artistic director of Moose Knuckles. He has made his mark on fashion and culture through an understanding of consumers and the industry as a whole with his many creative projects. We could not be more excited by the clarity of his vision for Moose Knuckles,” said Moose Knuckles Chairman, Victor Luis.

Nazario is currently the global fashion director at i-D. He also works as a stylist and creative consultant, including for recent Moose Knuckles campaigns, as well as for many luxury brands and numerous magazine covers such as Vogue, i-D, T: The New York Times Style Magazine, and Vanity Fair.

The Montreal-based company has been steadily growing its retail footprint in recent years. In November, it opened a new store concept in Atlanta, marking the brand’s 11th store in the U.S. Moose Knuckles also operates locations across Canada and Europe.
