Matthew Goode is the new face of Pink

Published
Sep 2, 2019

Pink Shirtmaker, the brand that used to be known as Thomas Pink, is continuing to reshape itself following its recent brand relaunch and has today announced actor Matthew Goode as its brand ambassador.

Pink Shirtmaker

He has a high profile after roles in two of the biggest hit TV series, The Crown and Downton Abbey, and will appear in Pink’s upcoming campaigns, starting with the AW19 creative.

The big reveal is on The Curve, London’s Piccadilly Circus display screen. The screen, which is best known for hosting ads for non-fashion brands, has become increasingly popular for fashion names seeking to make a big impact in recent years with labels including Reiss, Hunter and Stella McCartney taking space there.

LVMH-controlled Pink has been relaunched under new President and CEO Christopher Zanardi-Landi and Creative Director John Ray, and includes the promise “to bring exquisite shirtmaking back to England.”

Goode, who has been nominated for an Emmy, will front the marketing drive for Pink’s ready-to-wear collection as well as its Bespoke service, which is based at the brand’s new workshop in Vauxhall, London.

The first campaign, titled A life in the Pink, stars the actor dressed in the new AW19 range and includes a humorous short film.
