M Studio: new designs by Marc Ménasé

Published
Apr 17, 2015

This spring, Marc Ménasé is introducing a new label. The founding director of Menlook is launching a second men’s brand over three years after the creation of Menlook Label.

M Studio look - M Studio

The entrepreneur, who founded the menswear site in 2010, debuted Menlook Label in September 2011 with a range of basics. For M Studio, Marc Ménasé is continuing along the same lines, but is focusing more on quality. The brand employs natural materials such as linen, leather and cotton. "These materials are made to provide maximum comfort and also to last,” said the brand in a statement. “Care is given to details, such as red stitching and an embroidered logo."

Studio M uses suppliers who are close by, with part of its production based in Italy. The brand offers a complete wardrobe ranging from coats and suits (a trench for 225 euros), to shorts (39 euros), swimwear, shirts (59 to 75 euros), jackets and cardigans (69 euros) as well as shoes and accessories (39 euros for a belt). The new brand won’t be taking the place of Menlook Label at Menlook. However, to avoid any overlap between the two brands, the label may focus on pieces such as underwear, T-shirts and socks.

To assert the new brand’s independance, Marc Ménasé has transformed his Paris Menlook store at 38 rue de Saintonge in the third arrondissement. M Studio will be intially be sold initially in the latter, as well as on Menlook.com.
