Jacadi, Sézane, Frame descend on Marylebone Village

Published
Jun 8, 2023

It’s been a successful spring for London property company Howard de Walden Estate attracting a host of new retailers to the 92-acre Marylebone Village region.

Marylebone Village

Among them are high-end childrenswear brand Jacadi and homewares brand Mud Australia, having opened on Marylebone Lane and Marylebone High Street respectively. And they’re soon to to be joined by Parisian fashion brand Sézane and US luxury denim and lifestyle brand Frame in the second half of the year.

These new brand names to the area “reflect the diversity of Howard de Walden’s retail… offering and continued demand for prime space in Marylebone Village”, it said.

Jacadi has opened its second UK store at 51 Marylebone High Street. With a total footprint of 2,064 sq ft, the brand will bolster Marylebone’s childrenswear offer, joining Petit Bateau and Bonpoint at the northern end of the high street.

Meanwhile, Mud Australia has opened at 61 Marylebone Lane with a 500 sq ft store, offering customers its “elegant and timeless” porcelain homewares.

And following them into the area is Parisian retailer Sézane, signing a new lease agreement for 28/29 Marylebone High Street. It will offer customers pieces from both their women’s and menswear ranges in 3,848 sq ft of space.

Frame will be opening its doors to a second UK store later this year, although we don’t yet know the exact location or space covered.

Rob Kirk, Head of Retail & Leisure at The Howard de Walden Estate, said: “These exciting new brands demonstrate the continued appeal of Marylebone Village and we are proud to continue to welcome such a high calibre of retailers, a number of which have chosen the area to open their second or flagship UK stores.

“[We] continue to see high demand for prime retail and food and beverage space, and we continue to work hard to ensure a diverse and exciting brand mix is offered to our visitors, local residents and businesses.”
