From Gothic eye makeup to flaming face paint, there was a makeup look for everyone at the biggest Cruise 2019 fashion shows this spring.

Chanel
A richly pigmented, graphic blue eye was the focus of the beauty look at the Chanel Cruise show in Paris last month. The shade, which struck the perfect tone between glamorous and playful, was applied in a bold, feline flick and paired with dewy complexions and nude lips.

Dior
Makeup artist Peter Philips created a natural beauty look for the Dior Cruise show in Chantilly, France, that focused on bold eyebrows and flawless complexions. A dab of highlighter and a warm eyeshadow palette kept things pretty.

Gucci
Gucci's Cruise show in Arles was a theatrical riot of death-related and religion-related symbolism, paired with a Gothic and romantic beauty look that featured lashings of heavy, winged black eyeliner and tight, bouncing curls.

Prada
For its New York Resort collection show, Prada opted for a pared-down, natural makeup look, jazzed up with a shimmery metallic eye. Wet-look, tousled hair was in keeping with the minimalist approach.

Louis Vuitton
Matte complexions, a lightly defined eye and loose, slightly frizzy hair all made for a low-key look at the Louis Vuitton Cruise show, but makeup artist Pat McGrath created a few statement looks involving painting flaming roses onto a handful of the models' foreheads.
