AllSaints CEO William Kim departs, Peter Wood to take over

Published
Sep 11, 2018

William Kim, the chief executive officer of AllSaints, is leaving the British contemporary fashion brand for its parent company Lion Capital.

AllSaints

Kim joined AllSaints in 2012 shortly after it was saved from insolvency in a £105m acquisition by private equity firm Lion Capital, which has also investments in American luxury footwear brand Buscemi and US menswear brand John Varvatos.

Prior to joining AllSaints, he spent seven years as senior vice president of digital commerce at Burberry, and was chief financial officer at Gucci from 2001 until 2005. His CV also includes a stint as director of stores at American clothing retailer Abercrombie & Fitch.

Kim is leaving AllSaints to become head of digital investment at Lion Capital. Peter Wood, currently chief operating officer at AllSaints, will become the fashion brand’s new CEO.

Wood has been at the company, known for its leather biker jackets and expensive-looking neutrals, since 2010, serving across a variety of roles from chief financial officer to interim CEO to chief operating officer.

The group reported profits of £28.5m last year, an increase of 18% on 2016. It currently operates in 22 countries and there are plans to expand further in the future.
