A new dimension in international bridal design

Published
Mar 11, 2010

The finest bridal wear designers will come together to stage a new and authoritative bridal design fair for the first time in May, an event looking to establish itself in the international bridal buying calendar. White Gallery will be held from 23-25 May 2010 at the Saatchi Gallery in London.

World renowned wedding wear retailers and the international press will have the opportunity to see leading bridal design at the three-day show, with around thirty highly respected design houses to be invited to exhibit.

Alan Hannah, Amanda Wakeley, Anoushka G, Gemy Couture, Hollywood Dreams, Ian Stuart, Johanna Hehir, Lea-Anne Belter , Lusan Mandongus, Lyn Ashworth, Nicki MacFarlane, Pepe Botella, Ritva Westenius, Sassi Holford, Sarah Arnett, Stephanie Allin, Stewart Parvin, Suzanne Neville and Ugo Zaldi are among the designers showing their new bridal collections, together with Filippa Scott, Freya Rose, Halo & Co, Hassall, Katzi, Magpie Vintage, Polly Edwards, Rachel Simpson, Rainbow Couture and Vivien Sheriff who will be showcasing their bridal accessories collections. Other invitees include David Fielden, Dephine Manivet, Domo Adami, Ysa Makino and Suzanne Ermann to mention but a few.

Ian Stuart, who will be exhibiting believes that ‘White Gallery will provide an elegant plateau where designers can show their collections in privacy.’ Another designer, Suzanne Neville, explained her desire ‘to support this sector of the industry so it doesn’t become fragmented’ as one of her reasons for attending.

Taking place annually in May, White Gallery is positioned as one of the first exhibitions in the international bridal buying calendar. As a world leading capital, London is well-suited to host this event, with its rich heritage of art and design, culture and entertainment, food and fashion, and there is no venue more fitting than the stunning new Saatchi Gallery. It is a building with a fine history, in a world-famous location, with vast minimalist spaces that provide the perfect backdrop for an elegant and stylish show.

White Gallery will also be hosting fashion shows, with Amanda Wakeley, Alan Hannah, Ian Stuart, Johanna Hehir, Ritva Westenius, Stewart Parvin and Suzanne Neville showcasing their 2011 collections from their own named brands on the 23rd and 24th May.
