UFG and Brunotti Footwear had been partnered since 2009. From the end of 2018 onwards, Brunotti will operate its sales, distribution and development activities independently. However, part of the summer 2019 collection will still be developed and produced by UFG.

Marco de Gier, COO at UFG said in a press release: “In order to continue expanding the growth and good results both nationally and internationally, we have decided in good consultation to terminate the existing license agreement.”

Oscar Visser and Alfred van Gastel operated Brunotti Footwear under the subsidiary Palms and Pines Footwear BV. Visser and Van Gastel will both continue to work for Unlimited Footwear Group. Visser will be part of the Gaastra & NZA New Zealand Auckland Footwear sales team within subsidiary Star Collections BV. Van Gastel has been added to the Bullboxer sales team of Shoes Unlimited BV.

Unlimited Footwear Group is a Dutch company, operating in the footwear market. The Waalwijk-based fashion group designs, sources and distributes shoes for men, women and children.  The labels Bullboxer and Rehab Footwear are fully owned by the group. Other brands are licensed via its subsidiaries and include labels such as Björn Borg Footwear and Gaastra Footwear.

In 2016, Unlimited Footwear Group acquired two retail formulas, Invito and Le Ballon. The acquisition established UFG’s position in the retail market. The company is active in more than 50 markets around the globe.
