The Body Shop, which owns over 3,000 stores in 66 countries, has launched a new outlet in Madrid following 11 other branches that launched this year across Spain. The company has now 73 stores in the Spanish country.

All new stores feature the brand’s new concept Pulse Sensation, each showcasing their own Experiences Bar and digital screens. The spaces centre on story-telling, with the new outlet in Madrid boasting of a selection of customized body care products.

Sonia Lopez joined The Body Shop Spain and Portugal as marketing director in 2012. She has experience working in luxury and beauty companies including LVMH and El Corte Ingles. Lopez has held several positions at The Body Shop and was most recently retail director.

The Body Shop is part of L'Oréal and has an excess of 2,600 stores across the globe, of which nearly two thirds are operated by local partners.
