Reese Witherspoon founded Draper James to honor her grandparents’ Southern heritage in 2015. The brand has since collaborated with Net-a-Porter and will now work with another mass retailer, Crate & Barrel.

The two brands will co-design a series of home decor pieces. Its first collection will include a range of pieces such as plates, mugs and silverware. To keep the emphasis on entertaining, it will also include a range of barware. Prices range from $35 for a set of coasters to $65 for a set of plates.

Witherspoon will also act as an ambassador for Crate & Barrel for the brand’s Holiday 2017 campaign. The first ad shows the actress preparing to host a Thanksgiving party.

Many fashion labels have expanded into home decor offerings in recent months, often in collaboration with larger home decor brands.

Designers Kate Spade, Margherita Missoni and Anna Sui have all released collections in collaboration with Pottery Barn. Other brands such as Loewe and Vince have also expanded their lines to include houseware items.
