Reed Exhibitions names Rob Weinstein VP of marketing

Reed Exhibitions has named former head of marketing at Men's Journal, Rob Weinstein, its new VP of marketing. He will oversee the Agenda Shows, Agenda Festival and ComplexCon, as well as the ReedPOP marketing team.

In a statement, Weinstein said his goal is to develop "year round connections for our communities of exhibitors and attendees [by] ensuring the shows are not just thought of twice or four times per year, but as influential industry resources all year long.”

Weinstein comes to Reed from Men's Journal where he built marketing stories about luxury, men’s fashion and outdoor adventure content that was aligned with the media brand. Before Men's Journal, he was the brand development director at MAGIC for 5 years.

Before moving to MAGIC, Weinstein was VP of marketing for Complex where he grew the brand's print and digital network.

Reed Exhibition is relying on his experience as well as his deep industry relationships to help grow the company's events and brands.

Ron Walden, Reed Exhibition's newly appointed group vice president who oversees the fashion and festival portfolios of ReedPOP West, said that Weinstein "will bring tremendous knowledge and energy to the group, and to our effort to be the best versions of ourselves — enabling us to create immersive event experiences across the RX events.”

Weinstein will report to Walden and work out of the LA office. His start date is set for June 18th.
