Pigalle opens first womenswear pop-up

Published
Dec 16, 2016

Pigalle is opening its first-ever exclusively womenswear retail experience in Tokyo. The Parisian-based label, designed by Stephane Ashpool, will open the pop-up shop in Minato-ku on the 16th December.

The recent Pigalle Wedding collection will be available for purchase at the pop-up - H Beauty & Youth Facebook

The pop-up shop will be held at H Beauty & Youth, a Japanese retailer.

This venture will be the first time the brand has opened a women’s retail experience, temporary or permanent. The brand has a menswear store in Tokyo, as well as several other locations around the world, but this is the first time the brand has ever put a focus on womenswear.

Consumers will be able to purchase the brand’s most popular products, including the box logo t-shirts and sweatshirts. New pastel versions of the brands seasonless products will be made available, along with items from the brand’s just-released Spring/Summer 2017 collection.

This isn’t the first streetwear-aligned label to shift toward womenswear of late. MISBHV recently put a focus on womenswear, as did The Hundreds, with the latter launching a line of women's hoodies.
