Loavies made a splash with press and buyers during the July edition of the Amsterdam-based trade event, Modefabriek. According to the brand the fair resulted in an interest of more than 300 wholesale requests. “We didn’t dare to dream about this success. Requests from retailers all over the globe are still flowing into our offices. We look back to the fair with pride and are very satisfied [with the results],” said Loavies brand and wholesale manager Cynthia Korthagen in a press release.

The retailers that are part of the wholesale pilot include: Bij Marlies, Delft; Kootuur Boetiek, Zwolle; Vif Jeans, Rijssen; Liefste, Den Bosch; Paperbird, Utrecht; Olivia & Kate, Haarlem; and Unconventional Wardrobe, Rotterdam. Loavies stated that it chose these retail partners for their connection to the brand’s concept and brand package, as well as their geographic spread throughout the Netherlands.

Loavies offers collections for women via their e-store, which launched in 2014, and is available to the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. The collections include clothing, accessories, shoes, beauty products and items for the home. The price range is between €6.95 for jewelry and €149.99 for a faux fur coat.

The brand focuses on Millennials, with a strong focus on its social channels and online influencers. Loavies is based on fast-changing trends and offers about 15 to 20 new styles every week at its e-store.
