After setting up a vehicle to support emerging luxury labels, LVMH has taken another step in its search for new talent, by launching a prize for the most innovative tech start-up.

The French luxury goods group has announced it will hold the competition on the occasion of the Viva Technology conference, dedicated to emerging tech start-ups, scheduled in Paris from 15th to 17th June.

The competition will be open to emerging companies founded less than five years ago, valued at less than $100 million and linked with the luxury goods industry. Thirty two of them will be pre-selected to take part in the conference, and to vie for the LVMH Innovation Award.

The winner will be announced at the conference and meet with the LVMH teams, and may have the chance to work on developing its project in partnership with the group's labels.
