Isabel Marant has appointed Anouck Duranteau-Loeper as its new Deputy CEO. "She will be working closely with current CEO Sophie Duruflé and with Retail Director Nathalie Chemouny," the label has stated to FashionNetwork.com.

The two directors are the long-standing associates of designer Isabel Marant, and together with her, they own 49% of the company. They will now enjoy further support in expanding the label, which last July sold 51% of its stock to French investment fund Montefiore.

Isabel Marant has poached Anouck Duranteau-Loeper from Paco Rabanne, where the latter worked as General Manager of fashion since 2014.

A graduate of Paris' ESCP Europe business school, Duranteau-Loeper started her career as a consultant at McKinsey & Co., before joining LVMH, first taking charge of the Fashion division's strategy, then doing a spell at Loewe, and finally as Director of Leather Goods and Accessories at Céline.

Isabel Marant generates a revenue of €150 million, 80% of which from outside France, and intends to consolidate its organisation to enter a new development phase, in which the focus will be on retail expansion.

In early November the label opened a store in Berlin, at KaDeWe on Tauentzienstraße, bringing its total number of stores worldwide to 23. Isabel Marant is also distributed via 600 multi-brand retailers.
