Interfiliere Shanghai to bring spotlight on activewear

Interfiliere Shanghai, the leading trade show for intimates, beachwear and swimwear fabrics, is bringing the spotlight on the fast growing and promising activewear market at this year’s show to be held on October 12-13 in Shanghai.

The ‘athleisure’ phenomenon is taking the fashion industry by storm blurring the boundaries between performance and elegance. In fact, activewear is lighting up consumers’ wardrobes, no longer being restricted to sports activities, but also regarded as day-to-night outfit for various daily occasions.

Thanks to technology advancement and innovation, activewear has become supportive, comfortable yet stylish more than ever before. So, as an international sourcing platform and business meeting point for the bodywear industry, Interfiliere Shanghai 2016 will have spotlight on activewear market.

However, lingerie, swimwear and beachwear markets will continue as key factors of the show. The 12th edition of the show will work together with professionals and experts to present the most cutting-edge innovation and inspiration to the industry.

The two-day show will be full of seminars and conferences covering trends, branding, technology and other industry hot topics.

For the very first time in Shanghai, ‘Prototypes’ would be held in collaboration with fabrics and accessories manufacturers.

There will also be seven Interfeel awards for know-how and collections of exhibitors from fabrics, prints, embroideries, laces, accessories and OEM sectors.

In addition, there will be three forums that stand at the heart of the show. The Lingerie forum will showcase trends of autumn-winter 17-18 displaying all the latest must-have products. The Beach forum will dedicate a vibrant space highlighting athleisure products for summer ’18. The Innovation forum will feature technical and innovative textile and accessories for activewear focusing on swimming, yoga, fitness, cycling and running.
