Idris Elba + Superdry collaborate on exclusive signature collection

Golden Globe winning actor Idris Elba and Superdry have joined forces to create Idris Elba + Superdry, a premium men’s collection for Autumn Winter 2015.

The brand new Idris Elba collaboration, Superdry’s biggest to date, was presented to the public last Thursday night at the launch of the latest edition of London Collection: Men’s.

The 250-piece collection includes statement pieces featuring merino and
cashmere knitwear, tailored wool coats, premium down outerwear, fine thread
tailored shirting, redefined wash denim, and luxury sportswear.

Some of the major design elements include colours like midnight blues, graphite greys and jet black, and fabrics like nubuck leathers, cashmeres and organic cottons.

Voted one of GQ’s best-dressed British men of 2015, Elba designed the collection with Superdry Co-founders James Holder and Julian Dunkerton. Commenting on the design process, he said: “I like to look and feel great in what I wear and, like Superdry, quality and fit are important to me. Having the opportunity to collaborate on a clothing range has been an amazing experience, and I’m confident that my personal style combined with Superdry’s entrepreneurial spirit will be one to watch.”

The collection will launch in selected Superdry stores, exclusive department stores and online in the UK and USA, November 2015.
