Eugenia Kim launches customized hats

Eugenia Kim has begun offering customization on its signature embroidered sunhats. Expanding beyond the selection of currently available in-line slogans such as "In Your Dreams" and "Walking on Sunshine," the brand is now allowing customers to drive their own messaging.

In a release, the brand explains the simplicity of the process, saying "Just pick your hat, choose your trim, and customize!"

Customers can choose both the materials used and their desired custom phrases, hashtags or names. Hat styles are offered in two options and two colorways, sand and ivory. Suede cord, sequin or metal chain are the options for the text material.

Once the base style and material have been chosen, customers are taken to a page where they can enter their personalized text and see live renderings. A final image of the finished hat will be sent to the customer before it ships. The whole process takes up to two weeks to complete.

Customized Eugenia Kim sunhats are available now to order online. They are priced between $575 and $595. In-line styles with phrases such as "Do Not Disturb" and "Wish You Were Here" retail for $475 to $495.
