The British heritage brand, best known for outfitting one of the UK’s most prestigious educational institutions since its founding in 1865, has opened a pop-up store in New York City.

Located at the North East corner of 67th and Madison, the store showcases the brand’s ready-to-wear collections, which take cues from the label’s strong Eton links and its British heritage.

A range of limited edition handmade dressing gowns, woven in England by a small company dating from the Huguenot period, are available alongside accessories including socks, ties and scarves.

There is also semi-canvassed tailoring, made using fine English, Scottish, Irish and Italian cloth, and a range of sports jackets and blazers.

The store will remain open for at least three months, the brand confirmed on social media.

In addition to New & Lingwood’s historic shop on Eton high street, where every student is still fitted,  the brand has a flagship on London’s Jermyn Street.
