Acquired in 2010 by trade show organiser Messe Frankfurt, Ethical Fashion Show will see its first edition in Berlin in 2012. The fair was already introduced in July during GREENshowroom, another trade show that was bought by the German giant, which organises Intertextile, Heimtextil, Texworld, etc.

From January 18 to 20, the green fashion fair will be held inside the Ewerk venue, not far from The Station where Premium takes place. GREENshowroom will once again offer upscale fashion at the Adlon hotel on the same dates. “In terms of fashion, the North and the South have two different markets. Paris and Berlin will offer two platforms for two distinctive markets”, said Michael Sherpe, the president of Messe Frankfurt’s French subsidiary. The month of January will certainly be a busy one for fashion professionals in Berlin, with Bread&Butter, Premium, Ethical Fashion Show and even Igedo’s new project 'Gallery' set to take place in the capital.

In 2012, Ethical Fashion Show will be held at the Espace Cardin in Paris from the 2nd to the 4th of March. The trade show will then return to the Carrousel du Louvre in September.
