Actress Aja Naomi King has landed a new role -- as the latest L'Oréal Paris spokeswoman.

The "How to Get Away with Murder" star is set to represent the beauty brand from early next year, fronting the new campaign for its upcoming ‘True Match Lumi Glow' collection -- something she took to Instagram to tease with a fun video offering a sneak peek at the new five-piece shimmery makeup series. Further campaigns for hair, skincare and makeup products are planned for a later date.

"Growing up, I watched my mom apply her makeup in the morning and wanted so badly to be part of that daily ritual with her," said King in a statement. "Makeup became my armor growing up. It provided me with a sense of protection and gave me the power and confidence to face the world in the way I wanted. To now represent L'Oréal Paris is incredibly overwhelming. I am so excited to help others find and believe in the beauty of who they are because everyone deserves to know their own worth."

Tim Coolican, President, L'Oréal Paris USA, added: "Aja has openly and powerfully shared her journey to overcoming feelings of self-doubt and as such, inspires others to embrace their own beauty and self-worth."

In addition to fronting campaigns, King will also act as a presenter at the 2017 edition of the annual ‘L'Oréal Paris' Women of Worth' conference on December 6. The event will celebrate 10 inspiring women who are making a difference in their communities across the US.

L'Oréal Paris has a long history of snapping up inspiring actresses as ambassadors, having previously worked with Julianne Moore, Eva Longoria and Susan Sarandon, among others.
