Adolfo Dominguez names new operations director

Spanish fashion group Adolfo Dominguez has named Antonio Puente as its new director of operations, the company has announced.

Puente will be responsible for overseeing and coordinating the new management committee, and becomes the company’s second highest executive after CEO Adriana Dominguez.

The new operations director has a wealth of financial knowledge and expertise after having worked in several international fashion brands and across a multitude of sectors. He was most recently director of management control at Adolfo Dominguez, where he was in charge of the group’s financial activities in Japan.

His appointment builds on the arrival of Adriana Dominguez as CEO earlier in July, and continues the company’s transformation process, said Adolfo Dominguez.

Puente will help the business deliver a more coordinated strategy, improve productivity and reposition the brand. His appointment strengthens the leadership team which now features 12 members following the appointment of three new members.

Pablo Aranda Riveiro has been appointed as e-commerce director, Mario Ávila Molina joins as director of communications and María Pérez Mantecón has been named as management control director.
